On June 25th, the Hon Agri minister of Karnataka, Shri.B.C. Patil visited D K District.On this occasion,the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Mangaluru Branch represented by CA K S Kamath,Chairman, ICAI, CA S.S. Nayak, Immediate past chairman, young member CA Sachin S. Nayak, presented the memorandum consisting of 15 suggestions to boost the agricultural economy in Karnataka.The various measures included setting up of agri clinics, cold storage for agricultural products, additional HOPCOM Model Agricultural stores etc. The agri Minister acknowledged the contribution of Chartered accountants to the economy and also congratulated the Institute for conducting several useful programs and taking initiatives for the benefit of business ,MSMEs n Agri Enterpreneurs.
Hon Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary & Sri Rajesh Naik M LA Bantwal constituency were also present. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is celebrating its Golden Jubilee yearin 2020-21. To commemorate this golden jubilee year the institute has been conducting various useful programmes and sessions from the beginning of the golden jubilee year i.e from 18th August 2020. The minister said that he is proud of the Institute’s continuous efforts in supporting during Pandemic Times also by guiding the public to avail various facilities declared by the Central and State Governments & Reserve Bank of India.
